Here are answers to common questions about account access, errors, and managing your home records.

Signing in and account access

Trouble signing in

Try signing out completely and then signing in again. Make sure you are using the same email address and sign-in method you normally use with Dwellera.

If you still can’t sign in, contact support and tell us what happened and what message you saw.

Account unavailable

Dwellera may show an account-unavailable page when sign-in succeeds but the account cannot safely be opened. The message on that page explains the type of problem Dwellera detected.

Follow the instructions shown there. If the problem remains, contact Dwellera support and include the exact message.

Account deactivated

A deactivated Dwellera account cannot access the authenticated service. If you believe the account was deactivated by mistake, sign out and contact Dwellera support.

We could not verify your account information

This means the identity provider did not supply information Dwellera requires to access the account. Sign out, confirm that the account you use to sign in has an email address, and then try again.

If the message continues to appear, contact support.

Dwellera could not finish preparing your account

This can happen when Dwellera runs into a temporary problem while preparing your account after sign-in.

If another attempt does not resolve the problem, contact support and tell us that account provisioning could not be completed.

Dwellera could not connect this sign-in to your account

This means a Dwellera account already exists with the same email address, but the current sign-in identity does not match the identity already connected to that account.

Sign out and contact support. Do not create additional accounts or repeatedly try different sign-in methods as a workaround.

Account deletion needs attention

In some cases Dwellera may successfully delete the account's Dwellera data but be unable to finish removing the associated sign-in identity.

If you see this message, sign out and contact support so the remaining deletion step can be investigated safely.

Errors and unavailable records

Something went wrong

If Dwellera says it encountered an unexpected problem, use the Try again button once.

If the same error returns, contact support instead of repeatedly retrying. Tell us what you were doing, which page you were using, and approximately when the error occurred.

This page isn't here

A page-not-found message can mean that an old link is no longer valid, the record was removed or archived, or the record is no longer available to your current account.

Return to Dwellera and navigate to the record again from its normal list. If a record that should still be available continues to show the not-found page, contact support.

That home is no longer available

This message can appear if the home's status or your access to it changed while you were using Dwellera. Refresh the page once and return to the Dwellera workspace.

If you believe you should still have access, contact the home owner when applicable or contact Dwellera support.

View-only or permission-related messages

Some Dwellera access levels allow records to be viewed but not created, changed, archived, restored, linked, or deleted. Retrying will not change the access level.

If you believe your access is incorrect, contact the home owner or Dwellera support.

A selected record is no longer available

A system, appliance, service provider, history entry, document, or other related record may have changed after you opened a form.

Reload the page and select from the records currently available. If an active record repeatedly appears as unavailable, contact support.

Dwellera could not save or complete an action

If Dwellera reports that it could not create, update, archive, restore, link, or otherwise complete an action, retry once.

If the same error appears again, contact support and include the feature, record involved, action you attempted, and approximate time of the failure.

Systems, maintenance, and reminders

Systems, appliances, and history records

If information about a system, appliance, service event, or service provider does not look right, first confirm that you are working with the correct home and record.

If Dwellera says a category, event type, provider, or linked record is unavailable, reload the page and choose from the records currently offered.

Reminder dates are not accepted

If Dwellera asks you to choose a valid completion or snooze date, review the date and try again.

If an ordinary valid date continues to be rejected, contact support and include the reminder name and date you were trying to use.

Reminder or occurrence no longer available

A reminder occurrence may have already been completed, skipped, snoozed, replaced by a newer occurrence, or ended since the page was loaded.

Reload the reminders page and review its current state before taking another action.

Reminder action keeps failing

If Dwellera repeatedly cannot complete, skip, snooze, or end a reminder, contact support. Include the reminder name, action you were trying to take, and what you expected to happen.

Documents & photos

File requirements

Dwellera currently supports PDF, JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 25 MB.

Empty files, invalid filenames, unsupported formats, or files larger than the upload limit cannot be uploaded.

File contents do not match the file type

Dwellera checks whether the actual file contents match the reported file type. If they do not match, use the original valid file or properly export or convert it into one of the supported formats.

Renaming a file extension by itself does not convert the file.

Too many upload attempts

Dwellera may temporarily pause uploads after too many attempts in a short period. Wait a few minutes before trying again.

Upload or storage failure

If Dwellera says it could not store the file, retry once. If the same message returns, contact support.

If Dwellera says the upload was stored but its file record could not be completed, avoid repeatedly uploading the same file and contact support if one retry does not resolve it.

Security scan did not pass

Dwellera scans uploaded files before linking them to systems, appliances, or service history. If a file does not pass the security scan, use a different known-good file from a trusted source.

Security scan could not complete

This is different from a file being rejected. It means Dwellera could not finish the scan, so the file was not linked.

Wait briefly and try the upload once more. If the problem continues, contact support.

File says Not found

Return to the document or photo from its normal Dwellera page and try opening it again. An old link, unavailable record, access change, or unsupported preview can result in a not-found response.

If a file that should still be available repeatedly shows Not found, contact support.

File unavailable

If a file opens a page that says File unavailable, Dwellera was unable to read the stored file at that time.

Wait briefly and try once more. If the message remains, contact support and include the file name.

Linking or unlinking a file fails

Reload the page and confirm that both records are still available. If Dwellera repeatedly cannot add or remove the association, contact support and include both record names.

Account deletion

Before deletion begins

Permanent account deletion is available from Dwellera account settings. Dwellera requires recent authentication and asks you to enter DELETE exactly as shown before the deletion begins.

Too many deletion attempts

If Dwellera says too many deletion attempts were made in a short period, wait a few minutes before trying again.

Home or household data may be shared

Dwellera may block permanent deletion when another user's household membership or home-access history indicates that home data may be shared.

If you see this message, contact Dwellera support. Do not attempt to remove or work around another person's access history.

Account deletion is temporarily unavailable

If Dwellera says account deletion is not available right now, try again later. If the message remains, contact support.

Uploaded files could not all be removed

If file removal interrupts account deletion, Dwellera does not complete the account deletion. Some uploaded files may already have been permanently removed during the attempt.

Retry only as instructed by the message. If the problem continues, contact support and do not assume already removed files can be restored.

Account deletion needs attention

In some cases Dwellera data may already be permanently deleted while cleanup of the associated sign-in identity remains incomplete.

If Dwellera tells you that deletion needs attention, sign out and contact support. Do not try to create another Dwellera account with the same sign-in identity as a workaround.

For more detail about information retained during deletion and backup expiration, review the Privacy Policy.
